Our Story
Our story starts a long time before Pro Truck & Trailer Repair ever opened its doors. Our owner, Ron, and our shop foreman, Sam, met in trade school together back in the 1960s. Life took them in different directions for a while: Ron was drafted into the Army and Sam went into the Marines. But the friendship they built in trade school never faded. When they came back, that bond had only grown stronger, and it eventually became the foundation of this business.
We have been at our current Burleson location since 1996, and in the years since, we have grown into something that feels less like a repair shop and more like an extended family. We do not just add mechanics when we need more hands. We add family.
That mindset shows up in who makes up our team today:
- Steven, our assistant shop foreman, is Sam’s son. He joined us after retiring from Holt Cat following 25 years of experience.
- James is our front-end alignment expert. He retired from Bridgestone Firestone GCR after 25 years in the industry.
- Dennis has been with us since 2005 and is our well-rounded technician, specializing in transmissions, clutches, and general repairs.
- Reigna, our service advisor, has worked with us since 2008 and is a licensed DOT inspector.
- Katie is our newest addition, supporting our office as our assistant.
Together, our team brings over 100 years of diverse, hands-on experience to every job that comes through our shop. That kind of depth is not something you build overnight. It is something earned through decades of showing up, solving problems, and staying committed to the trade.

We work in a continued learning atmosphere because the trucks on the road today are not the same trucks we worked on in 1996, and we intend to stay ahead of that curve rather than fall behind it.
